Rancho Picante is a respected member of the Reining Horse industry. We are members of the American Quarter Horse Association, National Reining Horse Association, Montana Reining Horse Association (J B Gans is a member of the Board of Directors) Yellowstone Reining Horse Association, and Cowboy States Reining Horse Association. Our horses have been shown throughout the western states at industry sanctioned shows.

We ranch raise all of our sales prospects. From breeding through foaling, weaning, ground work and early training our horses are handled daily according to their development schedule. Each one is fed an individual combination of grains; nutritional, hoof and joint supplements; alfalfa and mountain grass hay; and pure, deep well water. These are the building blocks that make a strong foundation for the highly competitive performance sport of Reining.
